The Daydreamer
Measures 23,5 cm x 17,5 cm (or 27 cm with open wings).
“There is a bird known as the Daydreamer, who spends his days perched on a quiet branch, gazing into the distance. His wings are wide, and though he longs to soar to distant lands where no one knows his name, he can never seem to leave the ground.
As far as we know about him, the day he put on his travel clothes was the day he became silent. When others call to him, he does not respond. His mind is lost in the world of his thoughts, far away from the trees and birds around him.
He imagines vast, unexplored places, but no matter how far his thoughts travel, his body stays still, tethered to the earth. No one knows if he daydreams because he cannot fly, or if he cannot fly because he daydreams so deeply…”
Handcrafted with 300 gsm watercolor paper and tacks, this creature allows gentle movement and repositioning. While he’s designed to be flexible, I recommend keeping him framed most of the time to preserve his delicate nature.
