Measuring 18,5 cm x 14 cm (or 21 cm with open wings), this articulated paper bird is inspired by Ernest Ingersoll’s book ‘Birds in Fable, Myth and Folklore’. The specific inspirational fragment of the book can be seen on the gallery.

Handcrafted with 600 gsm watercolor paper and tacks, this dove creature allows gentle movement and repositioning. While she’s designed to be flexible, I recommend keeping her framed most of the time to preserve her delicate nature.
