Care Tips

Washing by hand:
If you wish to wash the scarf by hand, begin by adding some cold water to a clean container. If you have a localized stain on your scarf, such as a lipstick stain, don’t worry. To remove it, all you have to do is apply a few drops of soap to the area and gently rub with your fingertips in circles so as not to deform the silk fibers. To wash the whole scarf, submerge it in the bucket with cold water and the soap, and wash it gently to appreciate the initial soft touch that the silk scarf has. Of course, do not leave it soaking. This is very important.

Drying the scarf:
After washing it, we will move on to drying.
It can be done in two ways, either tumble-drying the scarf (always with the cold air program and keeping in mind that it will be dry in about 5-10 minutes) or letting it air dry.

To dry the silk scarf in the air, we recommend hanging it from the bar of the bathtub or shower; half for each side for about 5 – 10 minutes.
Never hang the scarf with clips, because the fibers would deform irreversibly. Do not hang it outside to dry in the sun, since it can burn the color.

Steam clean the scarf:
To do this at home you can use the steam function (at the highest temperature) of an iron. It is very important you do not bring the iron’s ‘hot plate’ into contact with the silk scarf. If any wrinkles persist, you can moisturise the scarf with the spray.

I trust that these suggestions will assist you in maintaining the pristine quality of your silk scarf, ensuring it remains as exquisite as the day you acquired it.
