The Ghost of a Flower
This piece is titled The Ghost of a Flower. The original is crafted on 300 gsm watercolor paper mounted on rigid board, with cutout windows that open and close using soft cotton cords. The little window reveals or conceals the main character that inhabit this gardened old house, inviting you to uncover details and stories with each peek inside. A cotton cord on the back makes it ready to hang, so no framing is needed.
The poem reads:
‘I am the ghost of the jasmine fair,
That bloomed in your garden of yore,
And when I died i made up my mind,
That I’d haunt this place evermore.’
Approximate dimensions: 21 cm x 28 cm.
