The Bird of Forgotten Springs
Measures 24,5 cm x 13 cm (or 26 cm with open wings).
“This Bird-Maiden holds within the hope for the coming Spring. With the softest grey feathers and the gentlest heart, she lives on the memories of the past springs, those days when the air was thick with the sweet scent of blooming strawberries and the world felt young.
She has seen the passing of countless seasons, and with each one, her longing for the next spring grows stronger. And though she seems frail, there is a quiet strength in her love for all that is yet to bloom.
In her sadness, she collects tiny tea cups that she hangs on the branches of her forest, one for each spring gone by. These cups are reminders of beautiful moments passed, like symbols of the seasons that she holds dear. She likes to look at the cracked and tinkling porcelain, sitting quietly in the stillness of the world and waiting for the warmth of the sun to return.”
Handcrafted with 300 gsm watercolor paper and tacks, this creature allows gentle movement and repositioning. While She’s designed to be flexible, I recommend keeping her framed most of the time to preserve her delicate nature.
