Tea Time

This piece is titled Tea Time. The original is crafted on 300 gsm watercolor paper mounted on rigid board, with cutout windows that open and close using soft cotton cords. The little window reveals or conceals the main character that inhabit this lost woodland house, inviting you to uncover details and stories with each peek inside. A cotton cord on the back makes it ready to hang, so no framing is needed.

The poem reads:

‘In a house deep within the trees,

Time drinks tea but never sleeps.

For every wish of faster days,

She takes a sip, slow and sly.’

Approximate dimensions: 21 cm x 28 cm.
