Dreams of the Spring Equinox

Housed in a painted handmade cardboard box, this springtime diorama features intricate original watercolor and gouache drawing papercuts. Golden ink has also taken part on the sparkles that shine in the floral pattern of the curtains of this piece.

Inside, a little alchemical bottle contains the seven roses that symbolically represent the dormant Spring, about to awaken from her slumber and spread her mantle across the valleys. The dreams born at the gates of this equinox are guarded by magical birds and other creatures of the forest.

The dimensions of the diorama are 20,5 cm wide, 22 cm high, and 12 deep.
